Worldwide Operations

PEI recognizes that every country faces similar environmental issues as the United States, and PEI has the expertise to provide solutions to these issues, including soil and groundwater assessment and remediation, environmental consulting/engineering, mercury and toxic metals management (Hg/As process stream sampling/analysis, mercury mass flux studies toxic metals partitioning and distribution studies in hydrocarbon processing plants), and produced water and condensates processing (waste minimization). PEI began international operations with its Sydney, Australia office, which opened in 2008 and since then has positioned itself to provide specialized environmental consulting services worldwide. PEI maintains exceptional worldwide insurance allowing us to operate successfully in nearly every country around the world (limited exceptions include Libya and Syria at the moment).

PEI began international operations with its Sydney, Australia office, which opened in 2008. Positioned to provide specialized environmental consulting services worldwide, PEI maintains active operations and staff in NSW (through our partnership with ISCT) and Western Australia. Our Australasian presence originates with our operations in Thailand, which is the focus of our mercury and chemical services operations in Asia. Along with our teaming partners in the region, we can readily deploy our mercury assessment and decontamination teams, including MAK2 mercury sampling systems, from laboratory bases of operations in Rayong, Thailand and Perth, Western Australia.

PEI is excited to announce that in 2016 our international team will be developing environmental and mercury process stream sampling/analysis and chemical decontamination markets in South Africa to support our global clients with ongoing exploration and production and existing/planned hydrocarbon processing plants throughout the continent. PEI maintains exceptional worldwide insurance allowing us to operate successfully in nearly every country around the world (limited exceptions include Libya and Syria at the moment).
