PEI's staff of highly trained professionals includes registered engineers and geologists, environmental scientists, and remediation specialists. The majority of PEI employees individually have greater than 15 years of experience directly in the environmental consulting industry along with considerable oil and gas experience in hydrocarbon processing environments (E&P, midstream, downstream and petro-chemical). Our experience encompasses the full spectrum of services traditionally offered by large consulting companies with dedicated client managers and staff assigned for each client's projects.

GEOSCIENTISTS

PEI’s senior geoscientists have over 60 years of combined experience in providing specialized solutions for soil and groundwater issues.
With extensive educational backgrounds and professional registrations, they are qualified in a multitude of disciplines, including monitoring well installation and aquifer characterization, near-surface geophysics, and groundwater modeling.

ENGINEERS

PEI's engineering staff includes mechanical, civil, and environmental engineering expertise. With extensive educational backgrounds and professional registrations, they are qualified to provide such services as design and construction of stormwater and wastewater reclamation and treatment systems, process evaluations, pipeline design and construction oversight, and design and installation of erosion and sediment control systems.

MERCURY SPECIALISTS

PEI’s Mercury Team is among America’s premier metal identification and remediation service groups. With experience and expertise at refineries, gas plants, compressor stations, and on- and off-shore drilling and production platforms, the Mercury Team is able to perform such services as mercury and toxic metals assessment and management, process system decontamination, and health and safety monitoring.

COMPLIANCE SPECIALISTS

PEI’s compliance specialists have a wide range of expertise in a multitude of disciplines. Areas of expertise include multi-media environmental and due diligence audits and assessments, stormwater pollution and spill prevention plans, design and implementation of hazardous waste management plans and permits, air quality compliance, USEPA Clean Water Act permitting and compliance, stormwater permitting and compliance, and emergency planning.

REMEDIATION PROJECT MANAGERS

PEI’s remediation and project managers have a wide range of expertise in a multitude of disciplines. Areas of expertise include waste stream characterization and management, source reduction and waste minimization, facility and TSDF audits, soil and groundwater remediation system design, installation, operation, and maintenance, rapid spill response contract services, NORM survey and disposal management, and long-term groundwater monitoring.
